For Customers

  1. How do I request for a tutor?
  2. Fill out the form with your details in the required fields at TutorSpace.sg/request.
After making your request, you do not have to do anything. We will call/email you to inform you if any tutors screened by our administrator have been selected for your final selection. We will then arrange a date and time for your first lesson.

  3. What is " Tutor Matching"?
  4. “Tutor Matching” is a powerful system that allows you to match your preferences of a tutor onto the tutors who have those qualities in our database though your self-selection process. It makes the viewing of the suitable candidates’ profiles easier for you as well.
    Selection Criteria:

    1. Subjects
    2. Subject levels
    3. Tutor category: view only full-time tutor, teachers, instructors, etc.
    5. Certificates Verified: If you select Yes, only tutors who uploaded their certificates will be shown
    6. Select your area: This is the area that you live in. If you are not sure, fill in the district field instead.
    7. District: Enter the first two digit of your postal code and we will determine the district for you. All tutors who have indicated interest to teach in this district will be shown.
    8. Gender preference: Do you prefer a male or female tutor?
    9. Age Range: You can choose tutors in a specific age range
    10. Selected Tutors (if any): Tick on the checkbox of your preferred tutors as you view their profiles. This enables us to contact these selected tutors immediately without having you to wait for interested tutors to reply when we broadcast this assignment.

  1. What is Certificates Verified?
  2. When the tutors’ profile contains the Certificates Verified icon, it means TutorSpace holds a digital copy of their certificate. The full image of the certificate should contain the tutor's name, the school/organisation emblem and legible text. Incomplete and low resolution certificates are rejected immediately.

Regardless of whether they have uploaded their certificates, the tutors are instructed to bring their certifications along during the first lesson.

  3. How do we know if the tutors’ qualifications are verified?
  4. We verify all the certificates that tutors/instructors upload to TutorSpace. A certificates verified icon will appear on the tutors’ profile once their certificates have been verified.

For tutors/instructors who do not upload their certificates online and if you wish to see it in hard copy, they will be instructed to bring along during the 1st lesson.

Contact us immediately if you find that the tutor’s qualification is inaccurate and we’ll assess the situation.

  5. What if I’m unsatisfied with the tutors’ service after the first lesson?

If you do not wish to continue the tuition after the first lesson, you will only have to pay for that session to the tutor and we will source for another tutor for you for absolutely free of charge.

  6.

  7. How do I make payment?
    Agency Fee
50% of the 1st month's tuition fee will be collected by us as a form of commission from you. You will receive the invoice with the TutorSpace logo on via email.
