| Qualifications / Experience : | Hi, I am 19 this year, just graduated from a reputable junior college and currently awaiting A level results. Meanwhile, I hope to spend my holiday meaningfully by imparting the knowledge I have gained from the 6 years of studying in the IP system. I know that many parents would be skeptical about having a tutor that has yet to obtain her official A level certificate, but I feel that I still have a lot to contribute. Firstly, being fresh out of school, I would still be very much familiar with the current syllabus. Besides, being a student myself, I am more understanding of students' common misconceptions and loopholes which I can help to correct them. Lastly, having to experience the sit-down experience in the recent examinations myself, I can provide useful tips on how to be exam-smart, and tackle exam questions in a skillful manner. In 2010, I was chosen as a Math tutor in the school's Peer-tutoring program for H2 mathematics. Each session was flexible, ranging from 1 hour to 2 hours. Tutee's grade improved from a U to a C in a period of June to October. In 2011, I also tutored O level chemistry and biology. Each session was 2 hours, and tutee obtained an A2 and A1 for his prelim respectively. | |||
